Participation right / Scoring

All members of the Professional Chamber of Thessaloniki, who are financially sound up to the year 2024 and do not have grounds for exclusion against them, such as:
• Filing an application for bankruptcy or being subject to a reorganization procedure,
• Being subject to a dissolution, liquidation or bankruptcy procedure,
• Serious financial misconduct, such as a final conviction for a bad check or similar offenses that affect business solvency.
The following are not eligible to participate:
• The elected members of the Board of Directors of the Ε.Ε.Θ. in the 2024 elections,

Natural persons [GP1] who own more than 25% or participate in the Board of Directors of a company, which is owned (in whole or in majority) by an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.Members who participate in a corporate capacity in companies of the above (as shareholders or members of their boards of directors).

The member companies of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. are entitled to submit a nomination for only one (1) of the four (4) available entrepreneurship award categories.
At the same time, all businesses that will participate in the evaluation process will also be taken into account for the award of the relevant special commendations, provided that they meet the corresponding criteria.
The “Group Entrepreneurship” category concerns exclusively the Professional Associations that belong to the power of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, which submit a separate nomination, regardless of the categories addressed to businesses. Each business has the opportunity to submit a nomination for one (1) of the available awards.
At the same time, all businesses that will participate will also be taken into account for the award of the relevant commendations, where provided for, based on the corresponding criteria.

Required supporting documents

Along with the application for participation, the interested party is required to submit:
• Balance sheets of the three (3) most recent financial years (2022, 2023 and 2024) or, in the event that there is no publication obligation, the E3 forms of the last three years.
• Candidacy report, which will be evaluated based on specific axes and criteria.
For the evaluation, candidacies should be structured based on the following evaluation axes, which also include individual criteria. The total limit of the report should not exceed 1000 words.
Along with the application form, candidates have the opportunity to attach any documentary evidence supporting their candidacy, such as evidence of previous awards, certifications (e.g. ISO), audiovisual material, information leaflets and other relevant documents.
The competent evaluation committee reserves the right to request additional information and documents, in order to confirm the validity and completeness of the information submitted by the companies.

For the evaluation and selection process of the awards, each candidate company will be asked to submit:
A detailed candidacy report
Proof that it is a regular member of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
